'Mile 22' is the fourth film collaboration of actor Mark Wahlberg and director Peter Berg.

Lil similar to The Jackal, Usual Suspects, Basic, etc. An officer in a top-secret CIA unit leads his team in escorting a prized intelligence asset to safety, with enemy forces hot on their trail. No wonder his weird hairstyle in this film. Malcovich was looking tired n it looked like he did this role to pay his bills. Wahlberg is getting monotonous with his sniper gun act but nonetheless he did ok. The film moves at a steady pace, has enough thrill n action to keep viewers glued. In fact, Uwais' action sequences are the highlight of this film. Uwais' name has become synonym with fast paced, brutal, hand to hand combat. The team is assigned a task to take that rogue Indonesian agent (Uwais) to an airplane at an airstrip 22 miles away from the embassy.
